Got what it takes for a career in U.S. Special Operations? SOCOM Athlete Hell Day events are open to ages 16+, providing a safe & challenging day of immersive training in locations across the United States since 2018. SOCOM Athlete instructors include active duty Navy SEALs, Air Force PJs, Army Green Berets, and more. Instructors provide invaluable mentorship to students, teaching critical fundamentals, proper techniques, and providing expert training tips. Events take place at world-class training facilities, often taking students onto the finest U.S. military bases in America. The event includes a Fitness Test, Pool Training, Challenging Physical Evolutions, Rucking, Log PT, Team Problem Solving, and more.

Hell Day students are taught to work together as a team, where leadership & effective communication are paramount for success. Hell Day events aim to develop warrior-mindset and a “never-quit” attitude, all while building new friendships & memories of a lifetime with like-minded individuals. Many Hell Day students have gone on to accomplish their dreams of becoming Navy SEALs, USAF PJ,  Army Rangers, Green Berets, CCT, TACP, USMC Recon, and more. Will YOU be next? Hell Day is open to the public, but has 3 requirements:

1. Must be a United States resident with a valid ID, such as a passport, a CAC, a driver’s license, etc.
2. Must be age 16 & up
3. Must be physically fit​

The following items are MANDATORY:

  1. Official ID (Driver’s License, Passport, CAC, Learner’s Permit, etc.)
  2. Rucksack (Available to borrow at most Hell Day locations)
    1. You may purchase a rucksack by clicking here (allow up to 10 days for shipping)​
  3. Athletic Watch w/ Timer Mode
  4. Dive Mask (goggles not authorized)​​
    1. You may purchase a dive mask by clicking here (allow up to 7 days for shipping)
  1. 2  x All-Black Athletic T-Shirt or SOCOM Athlete T-Shirts (Small logos are authorized)
  2. 2 x All-Black Athletic Shorts (Small logos are authorized)
  3. 1,000-2,000 calories of Snacks (Quest Bar, Fruit, Beef Jerky, etc.)
  4. 2 Gallon H20
  5. ½ Gallon Gatorade/Powerade or Electrolyte Drink
  6. 1 Pair Running shoes
  7. 1 Pair Extra Shoes (Will Get Dirty)
    1. May Bring Boots instead

Hell Day is both physically & mentally challenging, placing students into an immersive team environment for up to 12 hours. How far are you willing to push yourself to become a Special Operator? Do you possess a “never-quit” mindset? There’s only one way to find out…

NOTE: Students are divided into ability groups based on physical performance in running, physical strength, and swimming;

  • Red Team: Advanced

  • Gold Team: Experienced

  • Green Team: Beginner


AT MINIMUM, BE ABLE TO ACCOMPLISH THE FOLLOWING: ​

  1. Run 2 miles continuously without walking

  2. Move 2-3 miles with rucksack/backpack weighing 30-45 lbs.

  3. Calisthenics; at least 25 perfect push-ups, 2 perfect pull-ups

  4. Strength; Lift, drag, or carry a 150-200 lb. person

  5. Pull-ups; Be able to do at least 2 perfect pull-ups

  6. Floating; ability to float or tread water for 2 minutes

  7. Breath Holds: Hold breath for at least 20 seconds

  8. Swimming: Swim at a basic, beginner level

A Medical Waiver/Assumption of risk form is disseminated upon registration.

Students must be at least 16 years old to participate. Parental consent is required for minors.

Lodging is optional and is not included in the cost; Rooms are pre-purchased by SOCOM Athlete, allowing candidates to register for lodging on our website at a lower rate.
